Programmers cover your ears… Although we have great respect for programmers and their science, we don’t allow them to lead the website project. Programmers sit at the table with equal value and voice as graphic designers, copy writers and planners. We say this because we’ve seen the alternative, when a website project is led by a programmer. The same is true for a website project that is led by a designer. The outcome is imbalanced. Websites are a complex web (no pun intended) of voice, visual cues and actions that are planned. Great programmers understand this balance and welcome it.
