Kansas City, Mo. (September 13, 2023)—Following an in-depth application process, the Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce selected Angela Ridpath, EAG Advertising & Marketing’s vice president of client services, to become a Centurion. Ridpath joins others who fill leadership roles in some of Kansas City’s most established companies and respected organizations in this two-year leadership development program.
“The Centurions Program is the perfect combination of leadership development and making a positive impact,” explains Ridpath. “I’m a lifelong learner, and in the three years that I’ve been with EAG, I’ve had the opportunity to become more active and make an impact in the KC business community. I want to hear the perspectives of more leaders about what needs to be done to better the city. I want to connect with people in different industries with different leadership roles and styles to fully engage in making improvements to Kansas City. And, I want to make a difference for them and for our city.”
Since 1976, Centurions has identified emerging leaders and brought them together to prepare them to lead Kansas City’s effort to connect business, civic and philanthropic communities for the greater good of all. As a Centurion and member of the Apex Class of 2025, Ridpath will learn more about issues in our area during monthly task forces, serve organizations with volunteer hours, and lead by implementing programming and projects that bring long-lasting benefits to our communities. Centurion legacy projects include Synergy Services, restart, Inc., Newhouse, Cultivate KC, The Don Bosco Centers, The Hope Center and Growing Futures Early Education Center, to name a few.
