The Clinic, Kansas City’s first and only nonprofit immigration removal defense law firm, celebrated its first anniversary January 3, 2013.
It’s hard to believe that a year has already gone by. The Clinic opened its doors in the city’s Westside/Crossroads district, with the sole purpose of representing non-citizens facing removal from the United States. It can be a stressful experience that requires equal parts of compassion and competency, but that is the gap The Clinic strove to fill.
