Brookside Christmas in the Park

This Thursday, December 6, the Brookside Business Association and nearly 70 Brookside area businesses will ring in the holiday season with the Brookside “Christmas in the Park” at 6:00 p.m.

Visitors from throughout the region will enjoy the Dickens Carolers, Holiday Trombones, and St. Elizabeth’s Children’s Choir. Emcee Loren Halifax from Channel 4 will conduct drawings for wonderful gift certificates from area merchants along with a $100 Brookside gift card.  Participants from Wornall House will be present in their period clothing along with Santa Claus, thanks to The New Dime Store. Special treats and refreshments will be provided by Cosentino’s Price Chopper, Michael Forbes and The Roasterie. Some merchants will have extended hours that evening, and will be offering discounts valid only the night of the event.
