Kansas-based E3 Meat Company, operating on former professional baseball first baseman Adam LaRoche’s sixth-generation family ranch, has launched nationwide. Consumers across the country can now bring E3-certified Angus beef, the same served at the popular E3 Chophouse in Steamboat Springs, CO, to their own family table, just in time for summer holiday cookouts.
“E3 Meat Company was in the works long before I left baseball. With more time to devote to the ranch and our recent nationwide launch, I’m excited about sharing our natural, highest quality beef with other families. We take tremendous pride in the way we humanely raise healthy cattle. It’s important to us and we have learned that people all across the country want to know more about the origin of the beef that they buy.” explains Adam LaRoche, one of E3 Meat Company’s founders.
E3 Meat Company sells Premium USDA Choice and Prime Angus beef, which is 100% hormone-, steroid- and antibiotic-free. The LaRoche’s ranch in Fort Scott, Kansas, a symbol of the farm-to-table movement before it was a movement, follows sustainable and humane ranching practices above and beyond USDA standards. The result is better quality beef, better taste and a lesser environmental footprint.
Since “natural” and “all-natural” are largely generic terms today, E3-certified Angus beef adheres to its own definition of natural. The company offers a variety of cuts and packages, including New York strips, ribeyes, filets and ground beef, all of which can be ordered individually for single meals or events, as gifts or as subscription Clubhouse Packages shipped monthly.
