In 2006, Jeffrey Byrne & Associates, Inc., a Kansas City-based nonprofit fundraising consulting firm, helped a number of local and regional nonprofit organizations meet, and even surpass, their ambitious fundraising campaigns. In the area, SafeHome, a domestic violence shelter, topped its $5.7 million capital campaign, while the end of 2006 brought the official opening of Americas official World War I Monument and Museum after a successful $104 million campaign. JB&A also guided the Church of St. Cletus, in St. Charles, Mo., to a successful completion of its campaign to pay off construction debt and establish a 40th anniversary endowment. Finally, Mexico, Mo. celebrated the opening of a new cancer care center that brings services closer to home for residents of west-central Missouri. This state-of-the-art center was made possible through generous donors to the $1.7 million campaign.
