EAG Advertising and Marketing (EAG) today named Michele Markham Executive Vice President, Director of Client Services. Based in Kansas City’s Crossroads District, EAG is the region’s only advertising agency fully dedicated to small and medium aggressive-growth companies.
“Michele brings a wealth of experience to EAG having worked with large national franchise brands and dealer networks throughout the nation,” said EAG president Paul Weber.
During her 21 year career with Ketchum, most recently as president, Michele specialized in local media and marketing strategies for national brands with local market presence, including American Airlines, Bally Total Fitness, Bank of America, Best Buy, Budget, CARQUEST, CARSTAR, Check ‘n Go, DIRECTV, Dwyer Group, FASTSIGNS®, Geek Squad, La Petite Academy/Learning Care Group, Lennox, Luxottica, Michelin, Overhead Door, Pella, Penske, Pizza Hut and Weight Watchers. She possesses extensive experience across many verticals and has served on various industry boards and committees.
“In much of her experience, Michele has really been working for hundreds of small businesses owners as franchisees, helping them recognize the importance of big-brand strategy and management. This is a natural fit to have Michele work with our aggressive-growth, small business clients,” added Weber.
Markham will lead EAG’s client services team and business growth. EAG has served nearly 200 small and mid-market companies largely in Kansas City. Approximately 20% of EAG’s clients are located across the nation.
Markham’s experience goes well-beyond her 21 years serving clients from an agency perspective. She and her husband are also owners of three Title Boxing Club franchises in the Dallas, TX market.
“Michele is truly a unique asset for EAG,” said Weber. “Well beyond her leadership skills and proven experience with the nation’s leading brands, her ownership of a franchised small business gives her a remarkable view from all perspectives.”
“I am looking forward to this second phase of my career with great anticipation,” says Markham. “Business owners have a great thirst for big brand marketing delivered in a manner that fits them and their growing businesses. EAG is really a one-of-a-kind agency and the opportunities to grow and serve many are endless.”
