Pearl Homes is the developer of Hunter’s Point, a housing development in Florida that boasts some of the most eco-friendly construction in the country. These houses, which run on solar energy, actually generate more electricity than they use, and are said to be “hurricane-proof”. Pearl wanted national media coverage that highlighted their homes’ construction as part of a growing trend toward building homes that combated the effects of climate change. In a few short months, national media coverage included profiles in the Wall Street Journal, Associated Press, Fox News, Newsweek, and this major profile on CNN.
